Last 7 starts WHIP is 1.07. Excellent.
Still skeptical Ive seen brief spurts from him but he never sustains it. These are low pressure games with the Braves out of it.

Another solid start for Bryce Elder. 6.1 innings giving up only 1 run. He seems to have turned his ship around. Maybe he will make it in the rotation next year or at least become trade bait. Good on him!
HR's for Ozzie and Matt Olson provide enough O for the win. Albies is smackin' that ball!!

Lagway….sorta new as he was knocked out of our game last year, Manning….sorta new with much tempered hype and nightmares of being chased by rabid DAWGS, and of course Haynes King….not new but I can assure all with a RENEWED VINDICTIVE HATRED for all things Red & Black that go wolf wolf wolf, sicem in the late afternoon…..Blake Shapen, MS St, mediocre, new to The Dawgs and a Brock Vandagriff wanda be, and Conner Harrell, Charlotte, a bit less than mediocre….Joey Aguilar….NOT THE BEST WE WILL FACE…..average CR of 62% over 3 year and has never face a SEC defense much less a DAWG pursuing eat your azz up Defense.

Amen Eastman !! Just let him play, quoting you. That’s what I wish Bobo would do. Gunner Knows against SEC competition he’s not gonna be able to run the ball every play or even most plays. But let him be mobile. Don’t tell him he Has to stay in the pocket.
I know FSU was a weak opponent in the Orange Bowl but Gunner made some nice throws in that game.
In my heart I Believe in Gunner. I know that allowed to play true to his style he Can be a winner for our Dawgs. He desperately needs help from the O Line.
And for my umpteenth time If Kirby feels Pugs is the best man for the job I will fully support him. He has huge potential but the kid got his first ever snaps against Marshall.
Gunner needed Far more real game snaps Before this season. But he has much more experience than Pugs. I actually think it’d be unfair to throw Pugs in the fire of an SEC game this early unless Gunner is injured and they have to. We’ll see…… Go Dawgs !!

His first career road start was in New Orleans last year unless they moved the Superdome to Athens, perhaps his first career SEC road start.
