Re: Dawgnation - 404
biggest difference was as you mentioned. The offensive line.
They were solid and our blitzes could t get home. Watching that qb runaround and have 7 seconds to pass the ball was worthy of a bag over our heads in shame.
don’t know if it was jimmies and joes or X’s and O’s But the LOS was the difference.
Also, let it be said that stockton is one tough dude! Got leveled multiple times and got back up.
Also, the end of game play calling debacle was worthy of firing an assistant. We should have **** pushed three downs in a row. No one can argue against me on that.
Re: Dawgnation - 404
How about the McCray outside run on 2nd and 9 with game in balance!? Holy smokes! Three years with this OC and 0 playoff wins.
Re: Dawgnation - 404
Right on Mr. Griffith! UGA cannot play with the big boys any longer. Kirby will need the portal this year…Developing young players is of the past pretty much. NIL has turned college football into an industrial complex. I will say coaching is a factor. Kirby got thrashed by a rookie coach !!!
Re: Dawgnation - 404
Give Ole Miss credit where credit is due, they made the plays necessary to win the game, but, we didn't have to assist them with the offensive game plan coming out of halftime. We lost two series with Bobo and Smarts decision to continue trying to run the ball up the middle when it wasn't working, and don't get me started on the fourth down play in the shadow of our goal post.
Overall a good season for the Dawgs….
Re: Inside the Georgia locker room as Bulldogs grapple with a season that ended too soon
I don’t know if I would drive down that deep. Watching our game plan on both sides of the ball reminded me of a 5 and half hour round of golf where you stand around and watch for 10 minutes before every single shot in the round, and then slice it right or chunk it left, before waiting 10 more minutes for the next shot. My analogy of course is this…I don’t think it was so much about not being prepared as it was having way too much time (3 plus weeks of idle time) to overthink everything. The in-game decisions part, yes, they were very puzzling. Not the First time I’ve seen Kirby making questionable choices, it certainly caught up with him last night. Ole Miss just wanted it more, kudos to them.

Re: Inside the Georgia locker room as Bulldogs grapple with a season that ended too soon
it was the return of the Georgia from the first half of the season.
No drive to tackle the qb. We let a one armed rb run all over us and couldn’t tackle or get pressure on a qb.
Our offensive line was so far outta whack and rhythm that made me sick. Also the officiating for both teams was sus at best.
The whole game from coaching to line play was embarrassing .
simply get better dawgs and coaches.
all in all I would rather take the loss last night rather than losing to those bammers.
I feel the season ending was disappointing but as a whole surpassed my expectations from the beginning of the year. We did beat Tennessee Florida ole miss and bama all in one season.
go dawgs
Re: Dawgnation - 404
I respectfully disagree Mike. I think we lost this game in the late second quarter and early third quarter when our offense had a chance to extend the lead and the play calling was atrocious. We completely gave away momentum through incompetent offense. We did not play with an attacking mindset and use our many weapons to put them away. I liked this bunch of kids. Think they played super hard. They deserve better coaching.
Re: Georgia football final grades as Bulldogs fall to Ole Miss to end 2025 season
Ole Miss is paying Kiffen half a million for making it to the semi finals. Lane Kiffen loves this Country.
Re: Kirby Smart explains Georgia process on key third, fourth-down calls: âWe screwed that upâ
If the "book" says go for it on 4th and more than 1 on your own 31, then burn the freaking book.
Re: Dawgnation - 404
Well, what will Kirby do… Same mindset, stick his head in the ground, stubbornly refusing to do anything about his coordinators, his QB, his lack of talent? Or will he finally make some changes. Dabo has refused and Clemson stinks so bad, I can't believe they haven't fired him. Kirby bought himself 5-10 years with two national championships. But let's not forget, Kirby is just Mark Richt without Todd Monken - same record. The shine will start to rub off after a couple more years of this. And the recruits will go elsewhere.
Perhaps I'm being to hard. But keep in mind, these guys are paid Millions and Millions to give this their best effort. This isn't your local high school coach.
