Re: Defensive coordinator Glenn Schumann looks to salvage a 2025 season that didnât go as planned
Schumann’s defense allowed 13 third-down conversions in the first matchup against Alabama this season, the most ever in Kirby Smart’s tenure in Athens
I keep seeing this narrative repeated over and over……every time, the author will fail to mention that most of those third down conversions occurred in the first half when Bama scored their 24 points!
After Coach Schuman (and Coach Kirby) made their halftime adjustments, Bama was held to NO points and only three third down conversions in the second half….
The Dawgs lost by three points!
A drive- killing fumble, a dropped sure TD pass and a controversial decision not to kick a field goal….all contributed to that loss….none of which had to do with Coach Schuman’s second half defense!
Dawgs ROLL!

Re: Zion Branch listed as questionable by Georgia ahead of SEC championship game
It has been reported that Tech matched Florida’s offer but he chose to go to Florida. I think he wants to build an SEC resume plus he was commuting everyday to Atlanta from outside Athens as I understand it. I believe being settled in a more at home environment played a part as well. Additionally, Tech plays a much tougher ACC schedule (eye roll) next year as Haynes King and several key players are gone. And yeah, I’d choose Florida over Tech every time. Tech is back to irrelevant more than likely next year. Go Dawgs!
Re: Zion Branch listed as questionable by Georgia ahead of SEC championship game
I guess the Bees couldn't spare any of that 10 mil they got for playing in the Benz (a l arge chunk of that from tickets sales to Dog fans) to keep Faulkner. His hiring at UF is directly pointed at UGA. It will be interesting to see what he does with Lagway.
Re: BREAKING: 4-star WR Brady Marchese flips his Georgia commitment to Michigan
It gives the guys something to write about when someone commits years in advance but like many have said that is just pretty words until their name goes on pretty paper
Re: BREAKING: 4-star WR Brady Marchese flips his Georgia commitment to Michigan
The hand wringing over these "commitments" will drive a man to drink. My advice is to trust who UGA signs and be done with it. We are spoiled with the Kirby Smart era and everyone wants more. And more. I get it. But enjoy the ride Dawg fans. The game has changed and Kirby and Co. will navigate it. We may not win every game, but we'll always be right there. Can't ask for more than that.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I am so numb to flipping to us and from us. These kids are no news in my book until they play on the field playing big boy sec football.
until then…. Makes no difference if he’s a 6 star.
Not bitter, just tired of wasting time following this version of days of our lives
Re: BREAKING: 4-star WR Brady Marchese flips his Georgia commitment to Michigan
Unlike Curtis, I don't think this Marchese kid was EVER truly committed to UGA. He almost decommitted in June, but even when he publicly stuck with us, he kept talking to Michigan. And from other media, it seems that when reports surfaced early on Wednesday that Michigan was going to lose a prized WR recruit to Stanford, the Marchese camp REACHED OUT TO MICHIGAN to gauge their interest in him. So basically he (or his people) reinitiated the contact with the Wolverines at the same time he should have been signing with the Dawgs. I mean, as recently as Monday, he was still claiming he was a Dawg, but this tells me he wasn't all in. Did he get more money? Undoubtedly. But it's also clear to me that this kid really wanted to play for Michigan and as soon as a true opportunity to do that presented itself, he flipped to it. But better we find that out now because this dude just screams, "future transfer portal." Hopefully, we can find a WR or two in the portal ourselves who can come in like Branch did this year, and hold us over until some of the younger guys we signed last year and this year, and can take over. Go Dawgs!
Re: Zion Branch listed as questionable by Georgia ahead of SEC championship game
And Brad White from Kentucky as DC. Both are really good at what they do, they should make Florida a much improved team, and a more competitive team going forward. Anything has to be an improvement over Napier lol, who by the way, was hired by James Madison and given a 5 year contract to be the head coach lol

I don't think incoming freshman should get any NIL money until they've done something during the season to deserve it.
