Re: LB Justin Williams offers a reminder of why this Georgia football can still be special
Williams and Cole are going to be fun to watch, wreaking havoc on opposing offenses this season..GoDAWGS!

Re: Kirby Smart shares why G-Day isnât guaranteed to be an annual tradition moving forward
How did we go from 93K day, which I and my wife attended, to; Ah, it doesn't matter, there's really no value added by spring games. My wife and I thought it was wonderful. Going to that game converted my wife to a Dawg fan.
Re: Column: Georgia QB play shaky at G-Day, a question mark if Dawgs look to repeat in SEC
“We’re very lucky to have two guys that care so much about Georgia,” Smart said. “And they’re not worried about the perception or whatever you’re gonna write coming out of the scrimmage of your view of them.”
Guess what. That’s exactly the kind of young men a winning team needs to be special. That’s why most Dawg fans believe we’re in very good hands with Gunner and Ryan as our QBs. It’s actually pretty simple - they’re both winners. They’re not negotiating for more NIL money. They’re working hard to be the best teammates possible. They care about their school, their teammates, and coaches. Anyone who has ever been in a huddle with the game on the line knows the kind of guys you want in there with you. Gunner and Ryan are those kind of guys.
Go Dawgs!
Re: Georgia football winners and losers following 2025 G-Day
Yep, this NIL situation has turned College Football teams into paranoid (and rightfully so) messes and fear (not injuries or timing or recruits or whatever) is the reason for the Spring Game disasters. I'm glad that it was such a poor showing because it needed to be reflected of the mess that it is. If the game was televised and locked in, no doubt it would've sold out.
The Spring portal needs to go away or moved at least a month earlier. Mid April isn't the time to be finding a new team and expecting to play. If you reach the end of Spring and are not happy in your situation then fine, you should be able to Transfer… but no NIL deals allowed and no playtime till the following year. Even someone skilled like Nico at a large SEC school can just jump to another large school and expect to start. Maybe Georgia is just the exception, but it seems to take QBs a long time to master the playbook.
Re: By day 3, 1,250 have entered the basketball transfer portal
ah so there’s a bunch more money involved these days and things are more expensive. Good to know.

Re: By day 3, 1,250 have entered the basketball transfer portal
His folks got him a GTO when he got his full ride scholarship. That was about $4,000 back then - about the cost of college at the time.
Re: By day 3, 1,250 have entered the basketball transfer portal
that’s like $1,000 today. What else did he get back then?
Markets change but to pretend the game was some honorable thing back then because it wasn’t our in the open is revisionist history.

@NorthHallDawg
"I attended the game and if the truth be known, Colter Ginn, a preferred walk-on, and currently the third team QB had the most impressive drive with the most impressive passing"
Well we all know that a walk-on could never start for UGA at QB, much less lead them to two NC's.
