Re: One thing Georgia football should watch for in each College Football Playoff game
Regardless of the path to the NC, in order to win it all you're going to have to beat eveyone you play and that will include at least a couple of teams as talented as you are or even moreso, perhaps. BAMA will have to get through Indiana and maybe Texas Tech, and UGA will have to get through OLE MIss, then probably Ohio St. I don't see a clear cut winner as far as the path goes to the Natty. I would lean towards liking our path.
BAMA showed composure last night, going down early by 17. Notre Dame fans were out on Twitter giving it to BAMA early on in the game,"they don't belong, we do!", But in the end they are just a better overall team than Oklahoma. More ways to score points than OK. THat was always the question in my mind , could OK find enough points. In the end when pressured Mateer wasn't good enough.
You have to put pressure on these QB's, even Mateer looked good when given 4 seconds to find a receiver. BAMA learned their lesson after the first quarter.
That's what we have learned about UGA, we are better when we disrupt the QB. We do the hunting!
Re: Steve Sarkisian shares how Will Muschamp hiring gives Texas âa little intelâ on Georgia
As I said in an earlier comment below..an opposing coach can know every play you can possibly use, if the team doesnt execute and stop those plays, that "advantage" you gained is worth about as much as the paper the playbook is printed on.

This hire has less to do with what you see on film and more to do with what you don't see on film. There is probably no one, not currently employed on the UGA staff, that knows more about everything about the UGA football program and head coach than CWM. Do you really think that that "intel" is not valuable to a team/coach that is 0-3 vs UGA in the last 18 mo?
