Re: Catching up on proposed changes to college football, House vs. NCAA
The strong will survive.
It will probably go down from 129 teams or whatever the number is to 25 or so in time. It will also limit numbers for those that want to play & get an education.
Sad what may be to come, hope I’m wrong.
Re: Catching up on proposed changes to college football, House vs. NCAA
I would like to get rid of the CFP committee and use the AP poll for the playoffs. No guaranteed spots. BUT have the top 24 teams be a part of the playoffs. And maybe even having 2 play-in games with 26 vs 24 and 23 vs 25. In reality, will any team outside of the top 15 really have a chance to get to the natty?
Re: Jackson Cantwellâs candid NIL comments draw strong reaction from UGA fans
Georgia Tech beat poor Miami last year, so we know Caldwell wasn't after great coaching. To pretend it was anything but money is ridiculous. I'm sorry but that should be a blinking red light for NFL teams.
Re: What recent history tells us about how well Georgia football recruits 5-star prospects
Say what you want, it's not about what team turns out the most players or how well they develop players. It's about the money they can earn in college! Agents for high school kids, who would have ever thought!
Re: What recent history tells us about how well Georgia football recruits 5-star prospects
Well, we've got our 5-star QB, but one position we have struggled to land and keep is a 5-star at RB.
Where are the 5-star Swifts, Chubb, Gurley, and Sony Michel's on our roster? It's been too long since we landed an elite 5-star.
No worries here about Kirby and his recruiting prowess. He's a Master.
