Re: Georgia outside linebacker Elo Modozie enters transfer portal
He should be forced to go back to West Point and finish there and then serve out his commitment that he made to this country.

Re: Georgia outside linebacker Elo Modozie enters transfer portal
So … How has every NFL franchise managed to handle it? Seriously? I think you answer your own question by mentioning that the NFL teams are franchises! They are multi-million dollar businesses, not universities. UGA is technically a 501c3 non-profit established to educate young people. NFL teams have millionaire/billionaire owners in most cases, their players are contracted, unionized employees, they sell seat licenses, they sell millions of dollars of NFL swag, they get huge tax incentives from cities that they call home, NFL generates gazillions of dollars in advertising revenue that accrues to the member teams, they have fully embraced revenue from gambling businesses, etc, etc, etc
Re: Georgia outside linebacker Elo Modozie enters transfer portal
Maybe UGA should reach out to Damon and tell him that they will drop the lawsuit against him for breach of contract if he will come back. I know, I know he is not a man of his word, but … we really need good edge rushers. Everyone seems to want college football the be totally transactional these days, so what the heck. Are you not entertained?

Re: Georgia football defensive line poised to benefit from 2025 growing pains
Dawgs may be loaded at defense next season, but the Longhorns will win on offense and look similar to the National championship Buckeyes of 2024-25. It should be a good matchup next season.
" The Longhorns had the best weekend of any team in the transfer portal, making a huge splash on Sunday by signing the two best transfers at their respective positions, receiver Cam Coleman and running back Hollywood Smothers.
It capped a strong week for Texas, which added several other impact transfers leading into the weekend, led by Arizona State running back Raleek Brown, Pitt linebacker Rasheem Biles and Rutgers cornerback Bo Mascoe.
With Brown, Smothers and Coleman in the fold, Texas will enter the 2026 season with one of, if not the best collection of skill position talent in the country. The message is clear: for what could be quarterback Arch Manning’s final season, the Longhorns are going all-in to get back to the Playoff and make a run at a national championship.
The additions of Brown (1,141 rushing yards in 2025) and Smothers (939) bring in a combined 2,080 rushing yards into the Longhorns’ running game.
Coleman’s numbers were solid (56 catches, 708 yards, five touchdowns) but suffered a bit because of Auburn’s inconsistent quarterback play. Combining Coleman with returning Texas receiver Ryan Wingo (54 catches, 834 yards, seven touchdowns) gives the Longhorns an elite receiver duo that resembles the talent level they had at the position in the 2023 season, when Xavier Worthy and Adonai Mitchell were catching passes from Quinn Ewers.
They also got a much needed boost on the O-line when starting left tackle Trevor Goosby announced his return. The Longhorns also received a commitment last week from Oregon State left guard transfer Dylan Sikorski — the first scholarship offensive lineman Sarkisian has signed in the transfer portal since he arrived in 2021 — but adding more quality talent up front would go a long way in bolstering that unit to protect Manning better than it did last season."

I always get my prophets confused, especially Elijah & Elisha…but for some reason when I see Isaiah it always looks misspelled to me.
Re: Georgia football defensive line poised to benefit from 2025 growing pains
I had hope in the middle of the season - lots of young guys coming along. But the season ended so poorly for UGA, with the O line regressing pretty badly. The play calling was atrocious. Gunner just isn't comfortable throwing the ball down the field. Now we are worried about our D line. And Kirby just won't make changes. So slow to move. Bobo is a solid B coach, and a C plus play caller. And Kirby won't change it. I would at least pull in a co offensive coordinator.
I hear all the In Kirby I Trust stuff, but I know that he was just 10 win guy before Todd Monken, and he's just a 10 win guy after. And the game is changing so fast. Miami and Ohio State are moving quickly to grab QB's and talent, which includes coaches. Yet, here we sit, clutching our In Kirby We Trust mantra. I don't feel good about this. No article is going to make me feel good, until I see something happen with the O Coordinator.
The good news, Kirby is a pretty sure bet for 10 wins a season. The bad news, it will be another 40 years before we see another national championship.
Re: Jake Fromm reveals where Gunner Stockton can improve most before 2026 season
After watching MIAMI -OleMiss and Indiana v Oregon. The two teams with the most experienced QB's won. Albeit Miami survived and Indiana dominated big time. I don't believe MIami can take down Indiana if Indiana takes care of the ball.
I've said this elsewhere but watching Indiana play against Bama and now Oregon were perfectly executed games that were virtually over in the 1st quarter, definitely by the 2nd. Two just epic beatdowns.
THey are a well oiled machine reminscient of the 2019 LSU team, and our own UGA team in 2021. Great QB, great receivers and RB. Great defense. Great coaches. Awesome story they told during the game about the DC and OC having to live off less than 10 K a year at one point in their coaching careers and having to take food stamps, but they kept on coaching pursuing their dream!
THere are multiple ways to skin a cat but one way to win the NC is to have a team made up of nameless TP Juniors and Seniors all with experience and for all to buy into the coach's philosophy and leadership. THeyhave a grown man type of team. Much like Michigan a couple of years ago.
Re: Georgia football defensive line poised to benefit from 2025 growing pains
Jdatl3 has spoken.
Someone get the word to Kirby that he is a 10 win coach and let him know that Jdatl3 has all the answers for UGA to make it past the Quarterfinals.
Jdatl3 already has a co offensive coordinator in mind that can replace Bobo and Jdatl3 can actually take Kirby's spot and just do everything. Call the plays on both offense and defense. Out recruit Kirby, the whole nine yards. And, oh yeah, send multiple NFL ready players to the next level like Kirby has.
I'll be dead in 40 years Jdatl3 I wont be here to see the next National Championship that you bring to Athens.
Re: Georgia outside linebacker Elo Modozie enters transfer portal
my point on Gabe Harris returning is that not one reporter for Dawg Nation has covered this announcement. The reporters have covered unimportant players entering the portal and Dawgs in the portal or NFL declaration. Gabe Harris returning is far more impactful to the Dawgs future than reporting on current Dawgs in the NFL. I really respect the writers for Dawg Nation but someone wished this headline.
