Re: Georgia football-Alabama: Game Time, TV Channel, how to watch online, odds for Week 15 game
Sorry, off topic but maybe this puts an end to tampering and portal issues…good luck Georgia.
(Source cbssports.com)
The Georgia athletic department seeks $390,000 in damages from former Bulldogs outside linebacker Damon Wilson II after his transfer last offseason to Missouri. Citing a clause in Wilson's NIL contract, Georgia asked a judge to force Wilson to enter arbitration to settle the dispute. Legal documents show that Wilson was served a court summons last week in Missouri.
If the judge sides with Georgia, this could be a landmark case in college athletics. Georgia and other schools include clauses in their NIL contracts that equate to buyouts, and a ruling in the Bulldogs' favor would set the precedent that such clauses are legally enforceable. Player buyouts could, in turn, become even more commonplace as schools seek to protect themselves financially from the perils of the transfer portal.
Time to end the madness. Or at the very least, make it hurt to scru your team over.

Still no fan of traitor Pollack..he sides against UGA whenever he can. You would think he played for Bama!!! Georgia will win going away.

Re: Zion Branch listed as questionable by Georgia ahead of SEC championship game
This Branch injury is concerning. This means that #20 has to get more game reps. There are (at least) 2 ways to succeed vs the UGA DB's. 1) take advantage of the 8-10 yard cushion that Daylen Everette gives up on most plays. 2) run plays vs a generally predictable UGA pass coverage that isolates #20 in coverage. He is more of a run support DB who is very weak in coverage for a S. If you can isolate #20 in coverage you can play pitch and catch. Which is what AL did in the 1st game vs UGA.

Alabama's defense has regressed from our first game and Georgia's has gotten much better.

Re: David Pollack gives blunt thoughts on current Georgia offense: âIt wonât be prettyâ
great point. I will say that if UGA can’t over come the loss of one player it wasn’t the best team.
Two ingredients I have learned that are necessary to win a natty..1- luck ( scheduling , injuries, etc), and 2 - resiliency.
Re: David Pollack gives blunt thoughts on current Georgia offense: âIt wonât be prettyâ
I think Pollock has a point. GT's defense was getting demolished and then Georgia's offense struggled against them, especially after Bobo went out. This game will likely be decided by turnovers just like the first one was. The loss of Bobo will hurt the offense. The Dawgs defense is going to need to have its best game. The offense is going to have to get really creative and limit the negative plays and take advantage of every opportunity. No dropped passes and no lost fumbles.

@Gramster - yeah, saw that earlier, binding agreement with a liquidated damages clause -
"When the University of Georgia Athletic Association enters binding agreements with student-athletes, we honor our commitments and expect student-athletes to do the same," athletics spokesperson Steven Drummond said in a statement to ESPN on Friday.
The problem is liquidated damages are not legally allowed to be used as punishment or primarily as an incentive to keep someone from breaking a contract.
