Does it realy matter who Georgia basketball plays first round? they will get run off the courts. They do not deserve a position in the tournament. They were bounced in their first SEC championship game. Why did we hire the basketball coach that Florida was trying to fire? Probably Greg McCavity trying to save the Gators a big buyout. Anyway, very **** move which speaks volumes to the level of seriousness UGA senior leadership approached a winning mens basketball program. After Newell goes pro, it will be back to the cellar…. again…

@SnakeScott13 @MontanaDawg I whole heartedly agree with you my fellow Dawgs fans. It’s so very sad to see the direction that CFB and including UGA is headed.

I don’t watch the NFL. And I have little interest in other sports. Dawgs football along with all its great traditions has been much more than Just entertainment for me. It’s actually an escape though briefly from the hardships and some times brutal realities of life. That’s Not to say everything is bad in my life, Far from it God has blessed me Far More than I could ever deserve.

But Dawgs football is my little “special place” as compared to some guys do golf or hunting and fishing etc. etc. The usual culprit Money has about ruined it. And No I’m not saying players don’t deserve some compensation. I don’t want to get into a lengthy political discussion about all the nuances involved in that.

It’s just as an old man I’m seeing something I’ve held dear for most of my life crumbling on the part of Greed from many persons and entities involved and certainly Not just players. Sad. 😥

I would love to see Curtis in Athens, but @UGADad20, I don't see any 1 player as a must get. Not sure loosing out on Raiola set us back. He wouldn't have seen the field at UGA for at least 2 years and he is not exactly burning it up at Nebraska. There are complaints out of Nebraska over his lack of mobility and now his weight gain. The Dawgs need team QB's ready to fight for their job, like Puglisi, who may very well have beaten Raiola out in the long run. Kirby and company are not placing all their efforts on Curtis. Sure he's number 1 on the board, but not the only 1. All that said, Curtis would be welcomed to Athens with open arms. Go Dawgs

I would NOT want to have to play the Dawgs, early in this Tournament. No sir. This is gonna be one dangerous team, to anybody that plays em. They've been playing together for a year, now...and, it shows.

IMO.…hindsight, is gonna reveal, that losing in the 1st round of the SEC Tournament, was the best thing that could've happened for em. I'm not sayin',, White did it on purpose...but...? Who cares?. Lol
