Been a Dawgs since I was about 6 yrs old if my poor memory serves. Lord willing I’ll be 69 in May. So been a fan way too long to quit now. But these are sad, sad times for Dawgs fans and CFB in general.
Please don’t throw to many rocks at me as I mean No One any harm. But this is Why I said Dawgs fans better savor and be proud of the 12-2 season with SEC crown we just had.

Though I sure Hope I’m Very wrong it’s gonna be harder and harder to be Elite. And be at or near the very top of CFB. And it Won’t be so much failures on KS or the players. It’ll be UGA was out monied !!

Yall know me. Yall know I Try very hard to be an optimist. But how do you compete against teams who using $$ get the lions share of 5 star and 4 star HS recruits AND the cream of the crop via the TP ??
AND don’t think for even a second that them yokels in the NCAA are above taking kickbacks !! Heck for that matter the SEC Commish and others. Unless you caught these people dead to rights how could you Prove they are on the take ?

And with all this $$ flowing how hard would it be for organized crime to get in and control Vegas betting on CFB ?? I don’t think very hard !! They say Hey we’ll give you $500K to throw some games Or kill off members of your family Which do you prefer ??

I know I sound melodramatic here. But when you think CFB wide your no longer in the $$Millions your in the $Billions !! The NCAA could have in a large way either stopped or prolonged this for many years. They did Nothing !!

I know some of you disagree with me and that’s fine. Even dislike me that’s fine to. But To Me DawgNation is the greatest fanbase in all CFB !! Has been and will Always be !! Go Dawgs !!

It’s the game that a lot of families bring their young children because they can’t make it to any home games during the season. Those people get to experience some of Sanford Stadium. If this goes by the wayside, then college football continues to veer way off course.

In reality we can't keep up with the Texas types in the world of college football and NIL without bowing to the almighty dollar and what it brings to the table. I agree with everyone—if we have to do it—Let's do it with corporate and business interests that have very longstanding ties to the state of Georgia.

UGA at this point pretty much hasn’t got a choice But to play the $$ game. It’s either that or become bottom of the SEC. I honestly don’t know the answers. All I know is it’s sickening.

I Also agree that doing away with G Day is just another way of destroying traditional CFB and moving forward to semipro. Sad.

Coca-Cola has been an Atlanta-based company for over a century. Their roots have never been anywhere else. My uncle knew founder Asa Candler's son Howard, and bought his home on Lullwater Rd near Emory back many decades ago. Howard then built and moved to his Callanwolde home and property (now called The Callanwolde Fine Arts Center). That's where he kept many African animals that he had brought over including elephants and giraffes. Howard was a bit of an eccentric!

Delta was a logical and good choice.

I used to work for NCR Corporation when their Atlanta office was on Druid Hills Rd near 85. But their Worldwide HQ was always in Dayton, OH and only in the last 15 years moved to Atlanta. They have no deep roots in Georgia.

It would be nice to see a large Athens-based company as a logo.

There's no doubt the big Texas schools and many of the B1G schools have deeper corporate pockets and a bigger donor alumni base. They will bring in more money than we will be able to procure through most means. Any way to help feed the Georgia coffers is fine by me if it's done the right way.

H-E-L-L let’s just go the way of NASCAR and get it over with. Let’s just put little logos all over our jerseys and maybe a pretty pink Pepto Bismol one on the seat of the pants! What is happening to the game we all grew up loving? Yeah, I’m an old f-a-r-t! Go Dawgs!

It is just a matter of time before Team uniforms copy the NASCAR Model.
