Re: Spring Training
@donniem Younger fans may not even know what a bunt is.
Statistically, bunting is way down. With sacrifice bunts, managers use to trade an out for a base. Not so much anymore.
One of my favorite bunts was the drag bunt where a lh hitter would start his running motion towards the pitcher or1b prior to bunting the ball.
One of the best at it was Mickey Mantle. He had sucessful bases-empty bunt singles 80 times in 147 attempts.
Re: Spring Training
Not spring training but curious how the Braves tv network will settle out. Will any streaming network pick it up as a part of their sports package? I believe a couple included the Bally schedule last year. The season pass is being promoted for $99 I believe, haven't decided to take the plunge yet.
I have MLBTV free as part of my T Mobile phone and have gotten accustomed to picking a favorite game to watch primarily on starting pitchers listed. I then catch the Braves game next day or most likely just watch highlights or selected innings.
Why is baseball losing this generation of young males, just make your favorite team hard to watch, humm

Re: Kirby Smart trolls Greg Sankey, sounds off on meaning of SEC Championship game moving forward
Yes!!
I would've liked to have seen this sort of response to getting back the home game against Auburn that the SEC is determined to rob from Georgia. But at this point I'll gladly take seeing Sankey get called out by name for that road schedule that the conference saddled Georgia with, which included going to Bama twice in a row.

Re: BREAKING: Legacy OL Ty Johnson commits to Georgia football
Stars mean nothing. Remember Ladd McKonkey?
Re: The âhardâ steps that must come next for Georgia basketball, Mike White
We can’t do it without the NIL money to do it. I’m truly starting to dislike college sports and I have never wanted to feel that way! But, here I am!
