Re: Braves 2026
hopefully this hot streak continues for a while.
Agree. Maybe for another 142 games?
Re: Braves 2026
I'm really enjoying watching this group of guys play, hopefully this hot streak continues for a while.
Re: Braves 2026
Outstanding effort in Braves 9-0 rout of the Phils. Perez w/ 6 inning of shutout ball and 9 runs for the Braves who lead baseball in both runs scored and ERA. Not sure when the last team to do that was.
Early on Acuna and riley were struggling at the plate. Both seem to have heated up and are hitting more like expected. Even Michael Harris is banging the ball lately. When hitting, the Braves have a pretty potent lineup, certainly potent enough for a team leading the majors in ERA.
Feels good to beat the Phils in their home. Kind of like beating TN up in Knoxville!
Re: Social media raves about Georgia football transfer, freshmen coming out of G-Day
Prothro is going to be a nightmare for opposing DC's to plan for, and DB's to cover when he is on the perimeter..GoDAWGS!
Re: Braves 2026
We are way better at SS this year
What happens when Kim comes back? Dubon is hitting a ton? Perhaps he moves around the OF giving guys a day off? Does Kim sit and become the backup? I guess it is a good problem to have.
Re: Braves 2026
I think you are right.
We are way better at SS this year. Albies is having a nice start I like hitting him third against Lefties. Olson is absolutely destroying balls. Baldwin is a complete hitter. Riley and Acuna will get it going at some point. Offense is solid.
Then you have Elder off to a flying start. Sale may not be as dominant as years past but he is still really good. Reynoso usually pitches well when he is healthy. Holmes can pitch. And you have guys coming back from injury. The bullpen has been lights out.
Remember when we were worried because we lost Profar? Remember that guy? We shouldn't have worried. At least so far he hasn't been missed.
Weiss is running the team well gonna be fun watching them this Summer.
Re: Georgia football final grades for 2026 G-Day game
I was pretty impressed with the team overall.
The tight end room was the star of the show. Wow! Jaden Reddell turned a lot of heads, including mine, but the entire TE room stood out.
The number of injuries at the end of spring practice is concerning but not alarming to me.
The energy and excitement the players exhibited was a very good sign as was team cohesion and camaraderie.
Kirby & Company are doing a great job.
Go, Dawgs!
Re: Wes Johnson has Georgia baseball atop SEC standings and bringing in millions
Great MG!!! Finally a piece on something current UGA! Diamond Dawgs as opposed to some maybe 2027 recruit or repeating something the National media or ESPN predictions. Congrats!!! UGA baseball is HOT! Take advantage DN!

Re: Social media raves about Georgia football transfer, freshmen coming out of G-Day
G-Day saw a lot of new faces playing for the Dawgs and seven different quarterbacks completing passes. Click below to read the latest Junkyard Blawg, in which I sort it all out.
