Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:

- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Here is a list of 25 Bourbons around $40 as voted in a viewer poll on Fred Minnick's site for 2022. Prices and availability obviously will vary based on location. I highlighted a few that I personally keep in my cabinet for daily/regular drinking.
Cheers!!
This is great! Thanks so much!
It's my pleasure. If you are looking for a higher price point, I can give you some othe suggestions as others here could too, but frankly price and quality really do not correlate as closely as you go up the price scale in my opinion. Depending on where you live, you might find some Eagle Rare 10-year or some Weller Special Reserve for around $40. Those didn't make the list above because they are not readily available in most states. Happy hunting. Your hubby is a blessed man despite having had to attend the nerd academy! 😊
I'm not a drinker but I found this article interesting. Learned a lot about bourbon and it claims to know the best 6 bourbons in the world. What do you cognoscenti think?
6 best bourbons, according to a spirits expert | CNN
Don't think many here would call these the 6 best bourbons, but I'll 2nd the call for the Wild Turkey 101 as a mixer. I always keep a big bottle handy for when guest request a bourbon cocktail. The Four Roses pick is also not a bad one, but instead I would knock it up a notch and suggest the Small Batch Select. The author should probably edit this piece to read "The 6 best available Bourbons" as all but one of these picks are easily sourced.
Don't mind if I do...
CHEERS, fellow Dawgs!
Easy Sunday afternoon sippin’
Easing into the weekend
Cheers, Dawgs brothers and sisters!
Another Friday in the books and one less week until the Dawgs begin their rampage (again).
I.W. Harper in the glass and and John Lee Hooker on the speakers, a great pairing!
Go Dawgs!
Boom! Boom ! Boom!
Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!
Heyyeyyyy!
One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer.
A nice twist on an old classic. Barrel pick from my local shop, finished with 10 various wood staves for 90 days. 108.9 proof, Bottle 8 of 252.
Cheers!
I'm assuming that nifty Glencairn came with the bottle.
