UGA Softball

We will be attending our first game in April when UTurd comes to town and were looking for any info from those who have been regarding what to expect. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We are aware that admission is free, or at least that's what it shows online. How early should we plan to show up before the game? Best places to sit?

Thanks in advance!

Softball diamond is a lot smaller than in baseball so you can see from anywhere. Best seat would be behind the plate, there you can get a look at the speed and movement of pitches these ladies throw.

we get there to see them warm up. Especially the pitchers. We sit in the outfield. Good free fun where ever you sit.

I would say 30-ish minutes should be good for arriving. Unless they are giving away free stuff which may mean to show up a little earlier. While probably not right, when I was a student, a few students would show up to get the free item and then leave before the game even starts.

Depends on who they play 2017 watched them play South Carolina on senior day but had a descent seat 2018 watched them play bama and it was so packed wife, daughters and myself had to stand by the press box the entire game along with a BUNCH of others. We got there early, tail gates and it was still packed out
