We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Blasts from the Past

I was trying to research if Miguel Andujar is related to former Cardinals pitcher Joaquin Andujar, who I remember as a great pitcher but mostly for being eiected during game 7 of the 1985 World Series. The following “blog” article from back in the day popped up. Check out all of the people mentioned on this particular day

Bobby Cox leaves Toronto for the Braves, Mel Allen and Curt Gowdy elected to the Sportscasters Hall of Fame - “How about that?” , Dallas Green saying Kirk Gibson should stick with Detroit (what if he had resigned with the Tigers?). Mary Decker Slaney and Zola Budd get a mention - who could forget their Olympic moment?, the rise of Boris Becker, an aging John Mcenroe at 26 years of age with his 21 year old wife to be Tatum Oneal,

Lots of history in that one article.
