Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Great post! Some have sacrificed everything so we can have the opportunity to live our lives free from tyranny and terror. A debt that can't be repaid.
Yes, Thank You!!!!
Well.... I knew this would be really good or really bad.
It's good!
And must never be forgotten.
Don't forget to thank a hero this weekend.
Let's thank the children who's parent didn't make it back to see them graduate and the spouse who was handed a flag instead of the embrace of their loved one. Memorial day is for the memory of those who have fallen fighting for our country in foreign lands, away from family and loved ones. Veterans day is the day to celebrate those who sacrificed and made it home alive.
Yes, THANK YOU!!! Wish I could up vote this more than once!!
We just got back from cross fit. Instructor designed the last part in honor of a fallen NJ State Trooper with reps representing his numbers in some way. Instructor kept yelling 'he gave it all for you, now you honor him with your all'. I am old. I can barley walk.
Memorial Day (or less commonly called Decoration Day) is a federal holiday in the United States for remembering and honoring people who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces.
NOT active duty, retired, or veteran military, fire fighters, police, or EMS. While all of them deserve to be remembered, that needs to be a separate holiday. And yes I have served with folks from both groups that died in the line of duty.
All true. We live in the age of being inclusive. I was trying to explain all that to the instructor but never been that eloquent of a speaker while doing burpees.
For all those who gave all and to the men and women who are still giving
SALUTE !!
