Outstanding coverage, Jeff! Always appreciate your work. I'd like a couple of terms defined, if you would. Primarily, what does an "offer" look, or sound, like? And how does that differ from a "committable offer?" I realize the coaches say "We'd like you to play for UGA." But does the offer come with an "if....?" As in "We'd like you to play at UGA if you're the highest rated recruit at your position we can sign." Versus, "We want you to sign and we guarantee you a spot if you come." Is that the difference? One is conditional and the other is not? And if a recruit gets an "offer," does the school have the right to "allow" them to fill out the financial paperwork which binds the school to giving them a slot? As a logistical analytic, I'm curious about the process behind the terms we hear so often. Can we peek behind the curtain? Thanks for the great work! Go Dawgs!
