ATHENS — While Kirby Smart gave positive health updates for most of the Georgia team, quarterback D'Wan Mathis has not yet been given an all-clear. Mathis had brain surgery in May to remove a cyst. Smart did say that Mathis will be able to participate in some drills. Mostly though, it will be in drills where he won't

    Y'all realize we're only 29 days away from kickoff. Somehow, I knew that and was surprised by that both at the same time. I'm not going to say I can't wait, because I can and will -- but I sure am ready! I'm not anxious about any position or player with the exception of Zeus. Don't know why, but he's become my favorite player on the team and he hasn't even played a down. I so want him to succeed -- for the sake of the team and himself. I hope he does because I truly believe that if he plays well this year -- regardless of how much he plays -- UGA will be where we want to be at the end of the season. I won't even speak of the alternative. Go Dawgs!
