UGA doesn't look to the JUCO ranks much for elite prospects in the Kirby Smart era. But the Bulldogs made a few exceptions in 2019. They wound up flipping homegrown corner D.J. Daniel from South Carolina. His story.

We do have some really talented players in the mix, D.J. included. I want the best two on the field at all times, cheering for him to be the best in the SEC, not just the team. The true talent (physical and mental), will usually sift through to the top, eventually, but it might take a few games to shake out...Baker, was not the fastest in the class last year, in the nation or on our team, but the best.... Work hard, make the best of opportunity. GO DAWGS!!!
After reading this article DJ is one of the players I'm pulling the most for this season.
Love DJ, saw him play at Spalding High School against Griffin High. He could be one of the best at UGA.
