Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Georgia football defensive line needs to be more consistent, per Kirby Smart
ATHENS, Ga., -- In terms of hype, the Georgia defensive line might be the least talked about position group on the team. There isn't an abundance of 5-stars in the group like outside linebacker or at running back. And the group can't look back point and to a strong 2018 like Jake Fromm or the defensive backs can. A

Two seasons ago everyone benefited from Trent Thompson clogging up the middle and commanding double teams. Last year's team didn't have that guy. Here's hoping we find 1 or 2 this year.
D line has quite a few seniors on it though. I'm hoping for good things from them. Because if they can hold their own than I think the 7 guys behind them are going to have a field day.
Side note. Anyone else find all the divorce lawyer ads a little deflating? It's like "football season is about to start! Here is your divorce lawyer." Yeeesh.
I don't see them, but that's pretty funny and ironic...
It wasn't Trent Thompson who clogged the middle, it was big John Adkins. Thompson had some personal issues that effected his on field performance. He went from #1 recruit in the nation to undrafted free agent. Hopefully he makes a roster this year.
push um Kirby!
Every unit, defensive line, inside linebackers, outside linebackers, safeties, corner backs, and Star each needs to develop an "Alpha Dog", to make the defense better, all Natty teams have had great defenses. Last year, the Dawgs were way below standard.. They need to be in the top five at least.
