Basically Cox doesn't qualify for a waiver. But neither did some of these other players who got special treatment.
We're about to see if Florida has as much influence with the NCAA as Ohio St does. Seems that some do, but most don't.
End all of this silliness and cut back just a little bit of the bureaucracy. Every player that transfers has to sit out a year period. Every single one. It ain't the end of the world to stay off the field for a year but still get to practice and be on scholarship etc. The only exception is grad students. They can go anywhere they want.
