Anybody watching Gameday? I’ve rewound it several times and it certainly sounds like it. When asked if Michigan would beat Ohio State this year, Desmond responded with
“Is Desmond Howard gonna have to choke a b1tch?”
Found this in Twitter. It appears that is in fact what he said. Don’t get me wrong, I know he’s joking and it doesn’t bother me. But in this environment we’re in, I can’t imagine there won’t be some blowback.

As someone who has been known to say dumb stuff on occasion without meaning anything by it, though I don’t think about choking women so it doesn’t just slip out, I cannot imagine how effed up it must feel to do so on live tv.
But he’s an old veteran of TV and isn’t a Barkley or Stephen A so he should know better. And he’s well compensated.

He says “talking”. When I first heard it, it sounded like effing, but then I watched it a couple more times and paid attention to his mouth. He clearly puts his tongue to the roof of his mouth to make the “t” sound.
If wayne brady can say it, Des should be ok
