It seemed to me that last year when David Marshall went down we were never the same. I think he is the guy that steps up

I have believed all along that DL is our biggest concern this year, not Receiver. The potential is there, how that develops is, indeed, the key to our success this year.

This is a very important season for Kirby and his coaching staff. He has an experience qb, ol, rb, te, dl, lbs and secondary. I'm sure every team that won a national championship had question marks heading into the season but Kirby only has 1 (receiver). Next year could be entirely different. This is why I'm not concern about the defense as some are because Kirby knows how important this season is so I expect him to unleash those linebackers to put more pressure on the QBs and ball carriers which means, they will do a better job of stopping the run and create more sacks.

Kirby is a defensive coach. He needs to realize you can't win championships by having the defensive stats the team had in 2018.

Couldn't stop LSU, couldn't stop Texas, and couldn't stop Bama when it mattered.
