I am stoked about N Smith's capability, and I love the depth we have at the position.
Smaller than some and not as fast as most but a relentless motor is the same thing we heard about All American David Pollack! Once a stat is discovered that measures heart, determination, and effort, then we will be able to truly measure the potential for greatness of a player.
Shoot the hooch, I may be mistaken, but I thought speed was supposed to be one of his key attributes. It sure looks that way when he gets loose and starts running down quarterbacks.
I will say he does look a little undersized; however, if the bull rushes we've seen so far are any indicator, he doesn't seem to lose anything in power. If he can bring the strength of a 300 pounder in that frame of his, that seems to me like a best of both worlds situation.
