The whole off-season Dawg Nation writers have been bemoaning our receivers room for their inexperience and youth. Now after a couple of games you are saying our receivers have a chance of being a real positive. Hell us real fans have been saying that all off-season. Wish you guys would make up your minds how you really feel. Go Dawgs!
How about Netori Johnson #72? Great to see him on action Saturday......he looked pretty good, too!
Loved seeing the big guy out there and getting a tfl none the less!!
Agreed!
Yeah, remember when we were expected to destroy UT and they beat us? Yeah, I'm not saying squat till after the game. I didn't realize they did 20-25 passing with their starter. That's rough and that 60 yarder was bad. We have some tough teams with excellent QBs coming up, so we can't let them get the big plays or it doesn't matter how much we run - we will lose.
Wondering who Tennessee’s new HC will be
Le'ts hold the phone on burying Tennessee just yet. We've got a ways to go before we get there. And not to be too macabre, but two weeks into the season, two SEC East teams have lost their starting QBs. Just saying, anything can happen between now and the time we play Tennessee. I know the writer was just looking for something to fill space, but hopefully the team doesn't start looking that far ahead. Also, I could be wrong, but I don't think our secondary played that poorly. The guy completed a lot of passes, but only one was major (the TD) and at that it had to be almost perfectly thrown and we had to blow a coverage. Outside of that, the defense only gave up 3 more points. In fact, without the much-ballyhooed Stetson Bennett's Pick-6, UGA covers the spread. So let's get some perspective here. Go Dawgs!
I wish writers wouldn't foretell the outcome of a football game. Yes Tennessee has lost both games they have played, but they are still Tennessee, and on any given Saturday any team can win or any team can lose. Just shut your Pie-Hole about predicting winners and losers, don't give any team ammunition of loose words to motivate them to a possible win. If Fromm goes down, the Dawgs won't be playing for a Natty. Stetson had some good moments Saturday, but Murray State is just a slight step above a good 7 AAAAAAA high school football power in the state of Georgia.
