Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

WATCH California Cool Notre Dame QB Ian Book: 'We're not worried'
Notre Dame quarterback Ian Book says the Irish are focused on themselves and not worried about being a two-touchdown underdog at Georgia
Comments
Dawg fans had Touchdown Jesus holding his hands over his ears when Dawg Nation invaded South Bend. That will be nothing compared to the earth moving jolts of seismic energy felt at ground zero, Dooley Field at Sanford Stadium on Saturday night! Book can book it! GO Dawgs!
Concerning the ranked opponents cited in the article that Book has defeated.
LSU finished the 2017 season 9-4 and third in the SEC West before losing their bowl game. They weren't all that terribly great that year; they lost to Troy .
Stanford was ranked #7 when they played Notre Dame in week five of the 2018 season, but finished the regular season with four losses and unranked.
Virginia Tech was ranked #24 when they played Notre Dame in week six of the 2018 season, but finished the season at 6-6, then lost their bowl game. Of course, they were unranked in the final polls.
I’m in the Middle East and there’s a guy sitting next to me in a coffee shop, wearing a Fighting Irish t-shirt. I gave him a dirty look.
No need in all this talking. I’m ready to see the kick off and see who is the best on the field. I think Notre Dame won’t forget this game anytime soon
Great article and great breakdown by saldiven. When you beat a top 10 team in the first quarter of the season and they finish unranked, the comittee devalues that victory, as they should. Kirby has the team in a great place and Saturday will be a "moment in time" all Dawg fans will cherish forever.
I just hope our team treats this game like a championship game and brings their best on every play whilst also keeping the penalties to a minimum. Do this and we will have had a four hour infomercial on UGA as well as garnered the ire of more elite recruits.
This game, like the match-up in 2017, will undoubtedly affect the future of our beloved program for years and possibly decades to come.
Undefeated against the mighty Notre Dame sounds pretty good to me.
You should appreciate those people. Without them, our victories would not be quite as sweet. Remember his face and give him a big smile next week.
