It's not IF Pruitt will be fired, it's when. Now, you can say that about 90% of football coach's, but it's year two in a 6 year deal, and he's made some awful missteps. I think, given time, he could get the right mind set ball players in there and win 7 or 8 games, but it's a tough sell to get elites to come there, and he will fill that roster with a lot of 2&3 star types and a few 4 star sprinkled in. Really don't know if the guy is head coach material. Kirby is recruiting and winning lights out, but you read on our message boards daily about his game day coaching ability.....Geez......Firing Pruitt this year would set them back even more. Tossed at two years, Who's coming except someone with a name that's washed up looking for a retirement check. Think Les Miles or Rich Rod.

I bet Pruitt is going to lose his cool Saturday night during the Georgia game. All this junk is coming to a head and going to burst on national TV. Hope to see the UGA fans take over that stadium as well. Maybe all the UGA fans should chant Pruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiittttt every 5 minutes! That would be so sweet!

This Jeremy Banks kid really needs some guidance. After what he told that Police officer, it's really hard to give his scripted apology and credit at all.

Pruitt really walked into a mess. I hope Banks doesn't get kicked out of school, but Pruitt really needs to send a very strong message.

That Police officer is laying her life on the line every time she puts the uniform on, and that's how Bank's treats her. Sad.

I love my Dawgs and don't want to ever see Tennessee succeed against UGA; however, I hate to hear that any of this sort of thing has occurred at another school. I wish Pruitt would have simply told this young man to summon his God-given strength in this situation and be respectful to the officer(s) through the temporary process. Instead, Pruitt sets a bad example in front of this impressionable mind. I pray the young man is surrounded by mentors and role models that have true wisdom to share with him to set his future on a different path. "Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom." Proverbs 9:10.

Praise God for all the men and women in uniform!

Saw this story on one of the three major cable news channels. UT was excoriated, as was the behavior of Banks. Not a good look for UT, mangy mutts.

If you haven't had a chance to catch the Saturdays In The South series, you've missed a real treat for SEC and college football fans. I didn't know a lot about General Robert Neyland before the series ran. A veteran of WWI and WWII. Neyland was a legend and represents what built the SEC into the giant it is today. Pruitt is not just a stain on Tennessee. He is a blight on the SEC and its member universities. I can't imagine Neyland, Jordan, Bryant, Butts, Dooley or Dye disrespecting men in uniform sworn to protect us. Selfishly, Pruitt is good for UGA. They'll win nothing of consequence while he's the head coach. As a fan of the SEC, Pruitt should have already been shown the door. Go Dawgs!
