Jake Fromm silences doubters against Florida, again
JACKSONVILLE, Fla., – Seconds after No. 8 Georgia defeated the No. 6 Florida Gators for a third consecutive try, Georgia coach Kirby Smart found his quarterback Jake Fromm and gave him a hug that a father would give to his son. It had been a trying month for the Georgia quarterback after a four-turnover performance

Big win, Jake! Congratulations, and thanks for not listening to the outside noise.
Beautiful moment between Jake and Kirby after the game! Get your fourth in a row next year, Jake!
Good on ya, Jake! Great game.
Two years ago, Florida players talked trash about Jake in the days before the game, saying Jake couldn't throw anything but slant passes. He made them pay. Then last year, he had to take heat because of the loss to LSU. The Gators were next and again, he made them pay. This year, it seemed everyone except his own teammates and coaches doubted him and what does he do? He torches UF. So if he comes back his senior year, we need to make sure we criticize him before the Florida game. Maybe we need to do that every game for the rest of the year if this is what he'll do when his manhood is challenged.
There is no doubt that Florida has some excellent athletes on their team, but there is also no doubt that Kirby has assembled a team with better athletes. Jimmy's and Joe's so matter in the long run and that's a fact.
Jake Fromm had all the time in the world to make most of the passes today, not taking anything from him, but that is what a QB is supposed to do with that much protection. He is an above average QB but not sure if he can handle DL pressure from Bama, Clemson, and especialy Chase Young at OSU.
I am officially bored with the national media and their disrespect for our offense. In saying our offense is bad...they disrespect our defense. We had one bad game, excusing a monsoon game against Kentucky. We played a bitter rival in SC who prepares for us all year long. They know they have to beat Georgia for recruiting purposes. So they had a bye week, we came out and made mistakes. We totally dominated SC statistically in every area but turnovers. For the media to act like every game we play is in doubt because of one bad game is ridiculous. Every good team can have hiccup games and lose them.
I have lost what little respect for the national media after watching too many of them saying Florida imploded rather than say Georgia won the game and is the better team. Too many of them predicted a UF win, with Herbie going as far as saying Florida is the best one loss team in the nation.
Can't wait to see if we move up more than one slot in the AP and Coaches poll after beating such a powerful Florida team. I suspect we won't be in the top six of the College Football Playoff poll either.
I have never doubted Fromm. This kid is a winner and has been all his life. Who I doubted was the coaches and the play calling that too often put us in third and long situations then the pressure fell on Jake to bail them out. I stated yesterday that was going to be my concern against UF and it happened many times. Fortunately Jake, the offensive line and Cager stepped up to get the win. This was a great team win by a bunch of guys who showed tremendous heart and played their asses off. By the way, great job by the defensive line the whole game. Go Dawgs!
My honest opinion is that Jake stays for his degree, and his senior season. He's a finance major. I think if he intended to leave his junior year, he'd declare his major as something less strenuous.
I think he wants his degree too bad to leave and have to come back.
Besides, after this year with Burrow and Tua, I think Jake's draft stock goes higher.
Just my two cents.
I'm hoping anyway because he has meant so much to this team and would love to have him one more year with the improved receivers to make him look even better!
