"clinging"?
I enjoy quotes from players that indicate they have taken a college English class!
Also, after so many years of UGA being one of the softest teams in the country, I enjoy the "hard-nosed" identity and being one of the toughest, if not the toughest team in the country!
Eli has done an excellent job of stepping into Nauta's role! A DGD!
I'm still surprised...I'm in front of my TV saying "Kirby will run this ball"...especially after the ND 4th down........I will say that if this pass had of been incomplete then Kirby would have been crucified......It comes down to trying not to lose and winning
Cool tat.
Fromm and Eli were a match made in Heaven on that play. Fromm aired it a tad early but Eli was ready and ran to the ball. I am not at all surprised GA didn't run! Florida was not either. Fromm was in a passing mode. It was a destined pass. Wolf has earned Kirby's (Coley's) trust more and more.....so you trust Wolf on the play. It was HUGE! Down and out.....perfect! GO DAWGS!
And Danielson had the nerve to say prior to Jake’s throw, “Do you trust the QB to make a pass?” What a jerk. I hope he choked on the crow he had to eat for making that remark.
Mike, I have much respect for you when you put pen to paper and interview, you often ask excellent interview questions, but please proofread and maybe take fewer liberties with what you present to be true. "James Coley called Eli Wolf’s number..." That is virtually impossible. That play was not specifically designed for Eli, he was simply the one that Fromm threw to for likely multiple reasons. Also, while I'm on my soapbox, when you quote a player, isn't it good practice to actually QUOTE him/her word for word? I often see "quotes" with multiple errors in just a few sentences. Apparently it takes much longer to proofread a few paragraphs than it used to. I know these words will fall on deaf ears but a girl can dream can't she?
