Georgia football All-American candidates earn SEC honors in 24-17 win over Florida
Georgia football offensive tackle Andrew Thomas and kicker Rodrigo Blankenship earned weekly honors from the SEC announced on Monday

"Blankenship, who has won special teams player of week four times this week" What three other games did he play in this week to win four awards?
I'm glad anytime our guys can win awards and get positive recognition, but the competition for the special teams award must have been pretty weak this week. I mean, Rod hit three FG but none were record-producing, nor were they necessarily pressure-packed kicks (not a game winner or game-tying). Really, sort of a ho-hum day for Rod. Good for him. I'm OK with Kylen Hill being Offensive POW, but seems they could have made Jake Fromm a co-winner. I can't think of an SEC quarterback who had a better day Saturday than Jake Fromm, considering the circumstances and the magnitude of the game and the quality of competition Fromm played against. I think things like that should be taken into consideration when handing out these awards, not just the sheer numbers. Go Dawgs!
