Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Homegrown: The 'LLB' to 'DGD' road for Tae Crowder at Georgia
Tae Crowder has seen it all since he arrived in Athens in 2015. WR. RB. ILB. The position changes. And now the fifth-year senior was recently named a semifinalist for the 2019 Butkus Award. His DawgNation "Homegrown" story is far more than just a great senior linebacker here.

Wow, what a story, but it's real life and that makes it so much better!
Keep following your faith young man. It will take you all the way...
Cool story about a great guy and DGD.
Make Auburn pat tomorrow Tae.....DGD!!!
Loved this story Jeff! Thanks for sharing. I'm proud to have Tae on the team. What a DGD!
DGD!!.
Nice article Jeff! Didn't realize all the adversity this young man has faced, and overcome. So happy for him! Heart warming story about a TRUE DGD!
Dirty 30 is a DGD!!! GATA, Tae!!
Tae Crowder is a fine young man and a credit to UGA football. He has seen adversity few will experience. His faith has seen him through it all and has produced one of UGA's top athletes. Play with this same conviction tomorrow, Tae, and the victory is secure. GO DAWGS!
This serves as a needed reminder when we're watching and being critical of these young men at times, we have no idea the challenges and obstacles they're dealing with. I've been a fan of Tae's but I'm a bigger fan after hearing his story. God bless you Tae! Go Dawgs!
I have to agree Tae Crowder does in fact epitomize what a "DGD" is. God bless you Tae. Go Dawgs
A great example of a DGD!
Great kids abound on this UGA team. Tae deserves everything good that he receives in his life.
We will be competing against quite a few "home grown talents" this Saturday. Auburn would be unranked EVERY year if they were not allowed to pull Georgia buys.
Tae, you will alway have Big with you in your heart. You know you have added other brothers in your teammates. You have also added thousands of family members in Dawgnation. May your life be blessed until that time in the distant future when you are reunited with those you love.
