I wish we could have gotten John Rhys Plumlee last year when we had the chance. A dual threat qb always adds a spark to your offense

No one will quite explain it @Tom1111, but as I recall, we had Plumlee all but locked up. Then for some reason, WE started backing off of him. The publicly stated reason was something about UGA coaches being unsure whether he would be 100 percent committed to football or whether he would still be angling for a pro baseball career (apparently he's that good at baseball). But I think the truth of the matter is that we got word that we maybe could get Stetson Bennett back in the fold. He has the same skill set in terms of running and is supposed to have a strong arm, so maybe the coaches thought he would be a better option than an untested true freshman. But the way things have turned out, I wish we had Plumlee, too. At the very least, I think we'd be set for next year if Jake did leave early.

Indeed. There are all the ingredients for them to upset us. It's not enough to "know" they are tough, we must be prepared and aggressive as well. We can't go back to zone defense and runs up the middle. We'll find ourselves down 14 points in no time flat.
