Once he chose SC, don't really need an article about "what he brings to the table". But does it suprise anyone, with what Muschamp did with his defensive line play against Ga's "big" offensive line. He showed he can coach up and game plan better.

Man, BA’s musings about what Manning’s silence might mean got me hopeful! Hope we can land a strong candidate for this slot.

Kirby won't rest on this. He's recruited the DL very well since he's been at UGA and did this year too, even though we missed on Burch. Look for him to possibly pull one in this year on a flip, or more likely, we will get several big time DLs next year. Carter is really good and could contribute this year, but Kirby will definitely need to pull in some big time players next year to maintain our DL depth.

I was thinking that with Clemson out of the picture, we stood a pretty good chance with this young man. But I guess the pull of his homeboys was too strong. Wow, three weeks ago, SC was a dumpster fire; awful record, head coach under fire, demoted assistant coaches demoted, injured players all over the place. Now, the administration has reaffirmed its commitment to Muschamp, they've hired a top-notch offensive coordinator in Mike Bobo and landed a big-time 5-star recruit away from UGA, LSU and Clemson. Not a bad turnaround considering how they did this year, especially with some of the other talent they've recruited. We're still better but we're going to have to bring our A game against them.

I thought we had a chance and I will never understand why we only recruited 4 instate kids. That's unheard of especially since the facilities were upgraded. What's going on?

Hopefully, Burch will have some tread left on the tires when it's time to go to the league. He may play every defensive down for SC for the next three years barring injury. He will be far and away their best player.

No, but he will. This is not a kid who will flip. He did his homework and he will follow through.
