Georgia coach Kirby Smart likes the Bulldogs' 2019 early signing class, UGA scoring heavy at receiver and on the offensive line

There are a lot of highly rated recruits in the transfer portal, a couple of former five stars. UGA in on any of those? We need more like Cager and Davis.
Need a TE
I’m worried about Carson Beck at QB....had a lot of promise and potential when he first came up as a potential UGA commit, but has had a slow decline over the past year or so
The CFP has taught us that contending teams need a great, not just a good QB to lead their team. The difference from this year compared to the past two is the level of Fromm's play/production
Kirby is looking at transfers for QB...said as much when referencing Carson Beck as a signee. I think CKS knows Carson would need a lot of work. Fromm is iffy right now as to whether he will remain a Dawg or head for the NFL. WR commits to UGA took a pretty good turn for the better: Burton, Robinson, Rosemy and A. Smith. Those plus Milton as RB.
Now we need to close on Jones, Van Pran and best available prospects ! We still have spots open.
The 2019 class has a year under their belt, right?
Carson is fine, like Jake your're as talented a QB, as your receivers are. Lose really good receivers and you start over again.
Pretty much on board with ya, reddawg. Top receivers can make a mediocre QB look good....been there. But the "mediocre" will manifest sooner or later. Depends on the latent talent of the QB and how he handles stressful situatons. But you are pretty much spot on. Carson has that talent and is not mediocre...IMO. He will hit the field passing and running.
