See closed thread on sslyn557. I think we all got spammed. Mods removed the messages. If you click on another message in your inbox it should go away.
I had 2 messages this morning, but when I clicked on it there was nothing.
I saw a message from someone that said contact me. I responded "What's up?" and then nothing. The notification still says I have 1 message, but have no messages in my box.
I can't seem to make it go away.
You replied and will no doubt be hacked and they'll send you beheading videos and tell you to beware.

I banned slynn557 as soon as I became aware and deleted all his content. Dont reply back to his message, just delete it. If you did reply I think you are okay. He was asking people to reply to a specific email account which wasn't the same as his registered email. Just dont email the address in his message
The ghost messages are the ones that were deleted by the system when I banned him.
The little red notification bubble with 1 in it is aggravating my OCD.

It's a good thing my elderly mother is not a member of the forum. She would have already proved this creep with her SSN, bank account #, birth date, maiden name, phone number and home address.
