I told you Sam Pittman's recruiting to himself would cause problems at UGA! Fortunately Luke is just as magnetic...good ping pong player to boot!!! And he is a family guy! Luke is recruiting for UGA. I truly believe Luke has a higher moral standard than Pittman. UGA Recruit Jared Wilson says he had a great visit to UGA. Maybe it's turning in UGA's favor now. Jared is still undecided but we now have a chance. I disagree with Jared,,,,Pittman is not a great coach! See you in 2021 Jared!!!

Pittman, great recruiter and average coach. The whole "Yes Sir" look was only tolerable because he recruited at a high level. To me, it wasn't a good look for UGA.

I'm grateful to see Luke with our program. He seems to be a high character guy that will be a great coach or the OL.

I don't get too excited about Offensive Lineman but Jared does seem to have quick feet for a big guy.

Luke did more coaching in 3 weeks than Pittman in 3 years. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed the fun side of Pittman and the players loved him. Great guy, great recruiter, but a very mediocre on field coach. Even the players noted that Luke was extremely active in practice where Pittman was just passive and not motivating. It was also discussed by the talking heads on TV where they noted that the makeshift OL in the Sugar Bowl was much better than Pittman’s OL during the last half of the season. I know all the excuses about defenses “stacking the box”, but considering our talent we should have done much better rushing the ball. We were able to effectively run block one of the top defenses in the country in Baylor (who also stacked the box) with our back-up linemen and missing Swift, Herrien and Cook (injured). Give me Luke any day. Go Dawgs!!!

I firmly believe coach Luke is going to do a great job with the O-line. They absolutely under performed last year under Pittman.

They -minus- 3 starters looked better in the Sugar bowl. I also don't expect any drop off with recruiting.

Hey guys, to me, Baylor was overrated and ranked too high. Either that or UGA shone like a lot of klieg lights that night and just made them seem, well, less than stellar. I trow the latter. Luke made a huge difference in that game...Coley as well. Coaching makes the difference....then the players execution gives them even more credence.

Pittman aka Pitt Boss was the man for UGA! The O Line allowed the fewest sacks in the SEC! Ya'll have to put some respect on Sam Pittman's name!
