The last phone calls were finished with no minute to spare,

I signed on dawgnation to see what’s the matter
To what I should read I say “What the heck?”
It’s Will Mushamp’s son to join Carson Beck.
Twas the night before signing day,
and all through DawgNation,
not a 5-star was restless,
no need for deliberation.
The signees were peaceful,
all snug in their beds,
while visions of natties,
danced in their heads.
And Kirby in his PJ's,
his coaches as well,
all dreamt the same dream,
of ringing that bell.
Then they woke in the morning,
with "Go Dawgs!" a-plenty,
and thought to themselves,
this is our year, the year 2020.
And out of my sleep I sprang in a lurch
Could we just maybe flip Jordan Burch?
Surely that goal seems a little too far
But ol Kirby Smart signs another 5-star.
Now Newman!
