56 point total blown leads in the second half in 3 of the last 4 games. Typically pathetic. We won’t win enough down the stretch to have a winning overall to get into the sorry NIT, not that this basketball coach and team deserves it. Should have hired Jonas Hayes instead of Crean. He couldn’t be doing worse.

This seemed like a typical Georgia basketball season where they have a decent, maybe even good record to start the season, but once they get into conference play all that momentum just grinds to a halt. But even then, previous teams somehow at least stayed in the bubble conversation for at least an NIT appearance. But this year it's actually an honest question of whether or not this team will win another game this season. I get it that it can be argued this is really Coach Crean's first season given what he inherited, but fans reasonably expected better than this.

David1 I'm with you on we should've hired Jonas Hayes. I'm rooting for him regardless, but it would be great if Hayes could be an option if Crean doesn't work out, which right now isn't looking very promising.

With nine of the fifteen players on the roster as freshmen, there's reason for optimism that as this team matures, learns how to play SEC basketball, and learns how to close out teams this will be a team to watch. Unfortunately, it feels like that's two years away and without our star player which is a shame. I'm hopeful but rebuilds are painfully hard to watch and support.
