    It became more than a rivalry when Kirby broke Saban's 7 year streak of signing No.1 recruiting classes.

    Alabama fans had convinced themselves that all those top recruiting classes would come to Tuscaloosa as long as Saban was there.

    Then Kirby went to Georgia and flipped the script. Unforgivable...

    BA - you are right, GA v AL is not a rivalry, it’s a feud! A regular Hatfield’s and McCoy’s.

    I wonder if Saban's problems with his staff coaches goes back to the devotion that Kirby had for the program before he left? Kirby is a perfectionist and Saban is going to have a hard time finding another coach that has the devotion and the mind for the game that Kirby has.
