I'm afraid the loss of Spring practice will prove to be a limiting factor especially in the first half of the season.

Taking a new QB and a new system into Tuscaloosa in only week 3 is going to be a tough task to handle. I think the Dawg's defense will have to play their best game for Ga to have a real chance.

Having a senior quarterback to lead the offense will help a lot. Newman has only this year to make his stock improve for the NFL draft. It will take a lot of throwing in one on one sessions with his receivers to get the rhythm down. We may have to start off slow with the new offense and add a little more each week. Having a good offensive line, good running backs and a quarterback that can run the ball will take some of the pressure off of the passing game. But then, George Pickens is a passing game! By the middle to later part of the season we should be seeing a lot of things added in that we didn't see in the early part of the season. By the time we play Florida and Tenrc there should be better teamwork between Newman and his receivers. We should be peaking in time for the SEC championship game and the playoffs. Notice that I didn't say if?
