imageHEDGES: Who should Georgia football pursue at QB in 2022?

Elite in-state QBs MJ Morris and Gunner Stockton are both rated in the top 5 for quarterbacks nationally in the 2022 class. Does that sound familiar? Why did longtime national analyst Tom Lemming rated Morris ahead of Stockton for 2022?

UGA will take Morris or Gunner...just commit to the G...they will take it from there. Both superlative dual-threat QBs for 2022. Both athletic with strong arms and can scat from the pocket with potential runs, not just moving out under pressure.

Gunner may be on the short side but he can really zing it around and he has great vision while under duress. As far as his speed goes when the players on the other team have a hard time chasing you down, you've got a pretty good motor.

Sounds like we can't miss with either of these talented young men.

I vote for the “first” of these guys to commit to DawgNation. We want the one who is dying to play between the hedges and who will spend the next 18 months recruiting for our team. Go Dawgs!!!

On Lemming's post and evaluation of each QB he stated that Stockton is 6 foot or 6 foot one inch and he has hit his growth spurt, then he shows a picture of Morris and it shows he is also only 6 foot one inch, isn't that splitting inches?

We should take the one who wants to play between the hedges and is willing to commit and recruit for the program. Both will do a great job.

Doesn't matter which one it is. They're going to have to back up for a yr or 2 if the guys UGA are any good
