Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

REPORT: NCAA committee sets date college football coaches allowed to oversee player activities
Georgia football coach Kirby Smart could be back in front of his players on July 13, per a measure approved by the NCAA Football Oversight Committee

Things seem to be evolving steadily toward padded practice and coaches supervision. The players should be in pretty good physical condition by then. Cannot even use a football until July 24! Fans in the stands this fall would be a real plus if possible. State by state differeneces in fan attendance could prove a factor also. Safety is the main concern. Covid-19 definitely runs the itinerary doesn't it. And it should. This is a highly contagious virus.
I do not understand the logic of all this. Why not five or forty phases? Has any explanation been given for this particular formula? I am baffled how most folks, like sheep, just follow right along while a select few exercise their appointed authority. 2020 has been one crazy year. God bless America.
Seeing the Dawgs take the field for the first time this year will be very special and likely memorable.
Anybody else remember practicing for football without actually having a football? Voluntary workouts that began June 8, 2020, but football activity that includes a football starts on July 24, 2020.
