Few teams have been able to recruit as well as Georgia has under Kirby Smart. In the last four recruiting cycles, the Bulldogs are the only team to sign a top-3 class in every recruiting cycle. Agree with you Conner! But it's not only having the blue-chip players, it's also just as important to have the coaching staff and qualities to be able to develop those players and gel the team. We've got a tough schedule this season, a new offensive scheme, a new QB, and honestly it will probably take a near flawless performance to get us to the playoffs. Next season's schedule should be much easier.

I think it takes a "blue chip" player roster and a "blue chip" coaching staff to produce National Champions. Our staff appears to have the ingredients but only time will tell. Go Dawgs!!!

Adding Bama to a season roster that is really not a season will be tough! However, the other teams are experiencing the same practice deprivation...and...most do not have the talent UGA has to draw from. Syncing this corps of elite players will take an equally elite corps of coaches....which, I am grateful to report is now on staff...some returns, others new....but the coaching staff, I believe, is now in place to get the job done. Timing is critical with no ball handling until July 23! I see some need of leveling of the playing field here. Teams with returning QBs will have a slight advantage, however...that is why it is critical to choose one of the transfer QBs now at UGA....some are saying Daniels will become eligible this season. Newman is ready. IMO. Monken and Luke are ready. Let's connect the dots and show the SEC a team that is more than up to the task!!! GO DAWGS!!!
