WATCH: Richard LeCounte explains why time with Georgia football 'something special'
ATHENS — Georgia safety Richard LeCounte will direct traffic in the Bulldogs’ secondary next season, and the senior from Riceboro, Ga., is already feeling a bit reflective about his career. “Looking back on the days now, I’m kinda getting sad, because the time flew by so fast,” LeCounte said in a Georgia football

Can't wait to see LeCounte and the rest of the defense this season. It's going to be something really special.
I am thrilled for LeCounte's progress and growth. Now he must step up even further and lead with his play while continuing to teach the younger guys.
Great story Mike! Thanks for sharing!
Richard "Mayor of the Bulldogs" LeCounte is one of if not the best examples of an all-round player/student/human being UGA has ever had. It will be a thrill to watch this young man perform in 2020 as he caps off his time at UGA. Already named a first-team pre-season "All SEC" on defense...Athlon Magazine. I believe he is one of the best safety's to ever play at UGA. Glad you gave him his due...Mike.
Richard is certainly one who has fully lived up to his recruiting hype!
Time has flown by, just yesterday he was in a Santa suit trying to find some future Dawgs to join him in Athens. He's a DGD.
