I vote for a spring season. If the Big10 bails then there goes 6 teams in the top 20. Only the SEC has more. A national championship would lack luster if you have teams like Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State, etc not competing. It now looks like we will also be missing another conference with teams like Oklahoma and Texas out of the mix. Let’s move the college football season to spring semester and the players will (hopefully) be safer and maybe we will be able to attend the games which ain’t happening next month. Go Dawgs!!!

We also don’t need several conferences playing in the Spring and several in the Fall. This would likely lead to 2 national championship series with 2 national champions. I actually think UGa would be the greatest beneficiary of a Spring season because it would give our offense 5-6 more months to learn the new offense and to adjust to all our new offensive coaches. It would also give our new QBs time to adjust to the new system and to familiarize themselves with their teammates. One last benefit is Lawrence and Fields would likely sit-out a season that butts-up to the NFL draft. Go Dawgs!!!

Let's tee it up. I must agree with Trevor Lawrence about the safety of the players being much better at each individual school training facility than going home and all the exposure that generates. I wasn't thrilled with the young man's choice of universities but he sounds like he is thoughtful, intelligent and logical.
