Clearly, we didn't bring in grad transfers to sit on the bench. That said, I'm not counting out anyone in our QB room. Mathis, Bennett and Beck all have a shot, and they all will push Newman and Daniels to be better.
Daniels is looking like the smartest player in the Pac-12 right now, because he's no longer in the Pac-12.
Bennett will never start a game for UGA with the talent that is ahead of him. Newman, Daniels, Mathis and Beck are in another league.

Not to be Mr. Negative, but with an all SEC schedule there is a better than average chance we will get to see more than one of the QB in the starting role this year. Jamie Newman probably realized that and did not figure it was worth risking his Heisman reputation on learning a new system with a new team, coach and system in a shortened year.
