The only way Newman leaving could possibly help is that now the remaining QBs are all multi-year so UGA can build for the future..not just on a one and done. Other than that....Newman hit UGA hard. Three weeks to opener and he bails...he is a quitter and not a team player. All out for Jamie Newman. Just the way I feel about this. UGA could have prepared him for the NFL. I am pretty sure something was not going his way at UGA...so off he runs. Jamie,I feel, has an ego problem. I predict JT Daniels will do the same after this season. But do not fret, D'Wan Mathis, Carson Beck and incoming 2021 commit 5-star QB Brock Vandagriff will keep UGA one of the elite power 5 teams for the foreseeable future.
