The Georgia football team was dealt another tough blow this week when quarterback Jamie Newman opted out of the 2020 season. It was just another set back for another offense that has sustained quite a few of them this offseason. In addition to trying to replace a number of key starters and installing a new offense

James Cook looks a lot bigger than he was last year. If he can stay healthy, he will will be the key playmaker for UGA. Obviously, the QB has to play well and Pickens will draw coverage, but getting Cook in the open field with outside runs and passes will open up the entire offense.
I was more confident earlier. Now, things look a bit different. Smart is still not certain where they are as a team....one word comes to mind he mentioned twice: "sloppy." Not a word you want to hear but is understandable. No more scrimmages.... and McKittly is now injured.
As we all know, Coach Smart does not always reveal the on-field actuals. He does not like to expose his team's status or game plan in any way. Sept. 26 will show us a lot.
Couldn’t guys like DRob and Julian Rochester come back next year in theory? Nobody loses a year of eligibility this season.
