To some extent, Travon Walker knows what freshman Jalen Carter is going through. The latter enters the program with high expectations as he signed as a 5-star defensive lineman in the 2020 recruiting cycle. I was disappointed when we failed to get Bryan Bresee and/or Gervon Dexter in the 2020 class, but after watching Jalen Carter in the All Star game I started thinking we got the best of those 3 DTs. These recent comments from coaches and players are getting me really pumped about Jalen and I think we may have recruited a true superstar. Go Dawgs and Go Jalen

If you watch the interview he said, "the sky is the limit" for the defense and for Carter. Obviously a catch-phrase and obviously he feels positive about the D and about Carter. I mean after all what's he supposed to say? The defense is "OK?" Carter is "OK?" He's a 5 star prospect! The sky is the limit.

It's not like Trayvon was heeping praise on him with a big smile on his face or shaking his head in disbelief at the guy thereby saying more with what he didn't say than by what he said.

I don't mean to knock you Conner, but when I watched the video it was just one guy saying the other has great potential, but nothing else and nothing more. I was expecting a smile or something.
