ATHENS — Georgia tight end Tre’ McKitty reportedly has undergone an arthroscopic knee procedure, per UGASports.com, that could leave him questionable for the Bulldogs’ season-opening game. If McKitty can’t go Georgia will need some stepped up performance from the young and inexperienced players in the tight ends

    “I have been really pleased with Tre’ McKitty,” Smart said. “He is tough. He’s physical. He works. He blocks. He catches. He does a good job.” BUT he is out with a knee injury already? I hope he is not prone to knee injury? He is an imposing figure. Daniels still questionable Mathis better be ready. Very interesting.

    I hated to see this story, we need our TE's to step up and now we have a room full of rookies. Our TE room hasn't been right sized since Nauta left early and Ford went home.

    QB Newman: left team

    DB Ringo: Out for a few weeks at least

    WR Blaylock: Out for the season

    TE McKitty: Probably out for game 1

    RB Milton: Questionable

    These are some key players. Can't afford many more injuries.
